FlightCheck overview
FlightCheck is next-generation, stand-alone preflight application. This quality control tool will inspect and analyze all colors, fonts, images, and more, within both native and PDF documents.
It is complete with Inventory and Packaging functionality to ensure documents are print-ready. FlightCheck offers deep insight into your desktop publishing (DTP) file content and creates a package for sharing, printing, or archiving. Preflight Reports can even be integrated as JSON or XML, directly into most automated workflows.

Not sure why the previous poster calls it slow.. maybe he's proofing huuuuuuuge files or lacking RAm.. dunno.. anyway.. I think this is the best, period.
